The Hoffers wanted to update the look of their older, late ’80’s style kidney pool to a more current look and feel. The Hoffers also wanted to gain full use of their expansive corner lot yard, and wished to create a larger patio area surrounding the pool in order to maximize their enjoyment of the space.
While a fully landscaped yard with stone decking was not in the budget on this project, we were able to achieve a similar look by incorporating a stamped/tinted concrete finish around the pool-decking area. This left some room in the budget to add a walk-in entry step (one of the client’s wants) and as well as a tiered patio space next to the pool. This added some dimension and created the perfect location for their new Adirondack chairs and fire pit from Pioneer!
Some late spring inclement weather posed some challenges during the initial stages, however the team was able to complete the project on time and within a 2 week period. The Hoffers were able to enjoy a full summer with their new personal oasis.
